In Tallinn, we ate in a popular tavern III Draakon in the building of the Town Hall. It is known for its medieval surroundings, low prices and a colorful hostess. All food is only 1-3 euros! Awesome elk soup costs 2 euros, pies 1.5 euros. Drinks are more expensive - 2-3.5 euros. The portions are small but the food is delicious.
You can have an inexpensive and tasty meal in Tallinn in a cafe-canteen Lido - 3 course lunch offer from EUR 4.6. Only now Lido is located outside the Old Town. In the same canteen, we ate with pleasure in Riga - for 12 euros for two, you can have enough to eat.

But such a trick with the ears needs to be done a little in advance - Russian Railways does not lay out so many intermediate places, and they can be quickly disassembled.

So the verdict: prices in Tallinn are average by European standards, they won't hit the budget too much. You can save a little if you eat and live outside the Old Town. However, how appropriate this is is a question. One or two days will be enough to explore the main sights of Tallinn, so the total cost of the trip will not be too high.
Our expenses... We will tell you how much our trip to Tallinn cost. We spent a day in the capital of Estonia. We arrived by bus from St. Petersburg, the next day we went to Riga. Our expenses for two:
- Bus tickets - 1380 rubles (20 euros).
- Double room in a hostel with breakfast - 30 euros.
- Lunch in the Old Town - 8 euros.
- Groceries in the supermarket for dinner - 7 euros.
These are all our expenses in Tallinn. Total: 65 euros or 4510 rubles for two... If you add return tickets to St. Petersburg to this amount, you get 5890 rubles.
